Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- 2+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks

Amazon supports vendors, sellers, and third-party partners around the globe. As a Program Manager with Amazon, you will have the opportunity to develop the business requirements and influence the success of these partners. In this role, you will own operational programs related to our vendors, and third-party partners and work to resolve operational issues. As a program manager you will work cross-functionally to drive customer centric programs. This role requires a deep need for stakeholder management, an ability to synthesize data and information, and communication across internal and external partners.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
- Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
- Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
- Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
- Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
- Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
- Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
- Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
- Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.

Global Logistics Imports optimizes speed and cost, we execute the timely movement of freight from global manufacturing hubs cross-border into Amazon’s international marketplaces for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers and retail direct import vendors. Leveraging the capabilities of world-class logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions, Global Mile increases selection and lowers cost for our customers.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Carrier Manager that can manage the origin service of Amazon’s import networks. As a Carrier Manager, you will be responsible for the operational setup and execution of the origin service of the Amazon import supply chain that meets our customers’ needs while satisfying performance and budget goals.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
