Shape the future of AI-powered insights for Amazon's publisher monetization platform. As a Principal Product Manager, you'll define the product vision and strategy for APM's AI-driven insights suite, enabling 600+ internal users to transform complex business questions into actionable insights in minutes—regardless of their technical background.

You'll lead the design of intuitive, trustworthy AI experiences that replace manual analytics with self-service, autonomous intelligence, driving real business impact across 22+ Amazon publishers. In this product leadership role, you'll own what we build, why we build it, and how customers experience it—serving as the voice of the customer for our suite of agentic products and translating complex business problems into delightful AI experiences.

Key job responsibilities
Own the product vision and roadmap for APM's AI-powered insights products, defining strategic direction across near-term feature delivery, mid-term platform capabilities, and long-term autonomous intelligence investments

Lead customer discovery across 600+ internal users by conducting interviews, analyzing usage patterns, and translating unmet needs into compelling product opportunities

Design end-to-end user experiences that prioritize trust and transparency in AI-generated outputs, including information architecture, interaction patterns, and feedback mechanisms

Partner with applied science and engineering teams to translate AI capabilities—including language models, knowledge graphs, and anomaly detection—into intuitive experiences that build user confidence, while defining product requirements and acceptance criteria that balance scope, quality, and speed

Drive product launches and strategic trade-offs by developing go-to-market strategy, enablement programs, and adoption campaigns, while balancing self-service breadth and guided depth to deliver the right experience for diverse user needs

A day in the life
Your day blends strategic vision with hands-on execution. You’ll review customer feedback from recent user research sessions, identifying patterns in how teams interact with autonomous monitoring narratives and self-service analytics tools. You’ll collaborate with engineering and data science teams to refine how AI capabilities translate into user-facing features that build trust and transparency. You’ll synthesize customer needs into detailed product requirements, sketch out user journeys, and make trade-off decisions about automation versus human oversight. You’ll lead product launch strategy sessions, define success metrics, and prepare presentations for senior leadership on roadmap priorities. Throughout the day, you’ll connect insights across applied science, engineering, product, and design to ensure multiple workstreams align into one coherent customer experience.

About the team
We're the Amazon Publisher Monetization (APM) Agentic Insights team, building scalable intelligence solutions that serve business, product, technical, and science teams across 22+ Amazon publishers—including Prime Video, Twitch, Fire TV, Stores, Books, Audio, and Live Events. You'll work alongside a collaborative group of software engineers, business intelligence engineers, data engineers, technical program managers, and applied scientists who are passionate about solving complex problems. Together, we're transforming how teams access and act on insights.
