We are hiring a Billing Analyst for the Billing Central team to work with business teams under Corporate Functions Finance (CFF). The Billing Analyst manages vendor setup as Amazon payees, creates purchase orders, and processes invoices while ensuring compliance with billing standards and payment timelines. This role includes investigating payment status inquiries, executing additional billing responsibilities, and mastering country-specific billing procedures. The analyst serves as the primary billing contact for team members, vendors, and cross-functional departments across multiple countries, while contributing to special projects that incorporate AI improvements.
We're looking for someone who can work independently in fast-paced, uncertain environments while managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight. A successful Billing Analyst should respond quickly when situations demand it and make sound decisions even with incomplete information. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to think ahead and address issues that impact the billing team and cross-functional partners.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines. Excellent organizational abilities and the flexibility to shift priorities as business needs change are needed. This role requires professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information, plus the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage new vendor set-ups
- Create Purchase Orders
- Research and solve invoice and payment issues
- Enforce and provide guidance regarding billing requirements
- Lead process improvement efforts, and work directly with international team members to simplify and centralize the billing process for the organization
- Work closely with Corporate Functions Finance to provide consistent messaging regarding billing and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
A day in the life
You will support our global internal teams across Legal, Public Policy, Community Impact and Corporate Communications, and other business units by managing their billing transactions. You will help vendors navigate payee status and payment processes. Working closely with Finance, you will ensure transaction accuracy and proper budget allocation.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
