Do you want to shape how AWS Industries plans for growth? We are looking for a Sales Operations professional to join the Field Advisory as a Service Team (FaaST) within Central Operations at AWS Industries Operations. In this role, you will own Annual Planning and In Year Planning processes across four industry verticals, partnering directly with the operations teams that support those industries and the broader Annual Planning organization to turn complex data into clear, actionable plans. Your work will directly influence how our sales teams prioritize resources and deliver results for customers at every stage of their cloud journey. Over time, you will also contribute to AWS-wide annual planning initiatives, expanding your scope and impact beyond your immediate verticals.

Key job responsibilities
- Guide the operations teams across four industry verticals through their Annual Planning and In Year Planning cycles, delivering structured plans and recommendations that align with organizational goals.
- Analyze large data sets to surface insights, identify trends, and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify opportunities to automate and simplify planning processes using AI and ticketing tools, making workflows more scalable across the team.
- Collaborate closely with the broader Annual Planning team to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure consistent execution across verticals.
- Create clear documentation, communicate requirements to partners, and negotiate priorities while managing stakeholder expectations.

A day in the life
You will partner with the operations teams that support our industry verticals to guide them through planning milestones, working through large data sets and ticketing tools to track progress and resolve blockers. Between planning sessions, you will look for ways to automate repetitive steps and build scalable mechanisms that the broader Annual Planning team can adopt. Your time will split between hands-on execution and collaborating with stakeholders to keep planning cycles on track.

About the team
The Field Advisory as a Service Team (FaaST) sits within Central Operations at AWS Industries Operations. We take an industry-focused approach, meeting customers where they are in their cloud journey and working backwards from their challenges and opportunities. Our team enables sales success by building the processes and insights that help operations teams plan effectively and deliver results at scale. As you grow in the role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to AWS-wide annual planning initiatives, broadening your expertise across the organization.
