The Korea EAMM (Enterprise Applications, Migrations & Modernization) Leader serves as the Single Threaded Owner (STO) for the EAMM business in Korea, owning the end-to-end lifecycle — from initial customer engagement and pipeline development through migration execution, modernization delivery, and post-migration operational excellence. This leader drives the team of deep domain specialists focused on accelerating customers' cloud migration, modernization, and operational transformation journeys across AWS's enterprise workload portfolio. This team works in partnership with the local account management team to drive adoption of AWS cloud services across VMware, SAP, Windows/SQL Server, Database, Mainframe, Application Modernization, Large-Scale Migration (LSM), and CloudOps workloads. This is a critical role reporting directly to the Korea Specialist Sales Leader, developing and executing the national strategy for migration pipeline development, specialist resource prioritization, and customer adoption plans across current and future migration/modernization services.

As the STO, you carry full accountability for EAMM revenue, customer outcomes, and GTM strategy in Korea — there is no shared ownership. AWS is looking for a senior leader with a proven track record in technology, sales, and leading both business and technology teams in direct and matrixed environments. The ideal candidate has worked with large Enterprises navigating complex cloud transformation and brings the executive maturity to operate across commercial strategy and technical depth simultaneously. In this capacity, the leader will have revenue responsibility while leading a cross-functional team of Sales Specialists, Business Development, and Solution Architects focused on migration, modernization, and cloud operations outcomes. The EAMM team also acts as an important feedback ingestion point from customers in Korea that directly feeds into the roadmap for AWS migration tools, programs, and services. While leading a team of technical and business experts, you will lead domain-based discussions with C-suite executives on the business value of migration and modernization — including cost optimization, operational resilience, innovation acceleration, cloud operational excellence, and risk reduction.

You will develop a solid understanding of the full migration landscape and translate that knowledge into compelling business narratives that resonate with CxO and senior IT decision-makers. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you will define how we position migration value to the market while also rolling up your sleeves to orchestrate complex engagements, remove blockers, and ensure delivery excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, connects technical depth with commercial acumen, and earns trust quickly across internal and external stakeholders.

You play a critical role in taking the voice of the customer and sharing it back to the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) team to ensure customer feedback is amplified to effectively influence our technology roadmaps and Go-To-Market strategy. This role will contribute to the overall performance of the business measured by revenue growth, net new customers, migration workload volume, and product and service influence.

Key job responsibilities
• Own EAMM revenue, pipeline, and GTM strategy for Korea — engaging at the CxO/VP level to develop qualified migration pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, shape deal strategy for complex engagements, and drive top-line revenue across Migration, Modernization, VMware, SAP, LSM, CloudOps, and Application Modernization specialty areas.
• Partner with Division Sales Leaders across Korea to align on EAMM goals, strategy, and GTM execution — ensuring migration and modernization priorities are integrated into each division's growth agenda, specialist resources are deployed against the highest-impact opportunities, and joint accountability mechanisms are in place to drive revenue attainment and customer outcomes at the division level.
• Lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams — Specialists, Solution Architects, CSMs, ProServe, and Partners — to guide customers through end-to-end migration journeys, developing and deploying sales motions including migration assessments, consultative workshops, solutions blueprints, POCs, and partner-led GTM programs that accelerate customer adoption at scale.
• Define and execute the national territory plan and operational cadence — building data-driven mechanisms to measure adoption, track program effectiveness, optimize pipeline progression, and drive operational excellence across the EAMM portfolio.
• Articulate the business value of migration and modernization to CxO and senior IT leaders — translating technical depth across all EAMM workloads into compelling business narratives around cost optimization, operational resilience, innovation acceleration, and risk reduction tailored to each customer context.
• Serve as the voice of the Korea customer back to the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) — ensuring field insights and customer feedback directly influence AWS migration tools, programs, service roadmaps, and Go-To-Market strategy.
• Hire, develop, and inspire the EAMM specialist team — building a high-performing culture of ownership, customer obsession, and execution excellence that consistently exceeds expectations against defined goals and objectives
