The Opportunity
Adobe's creative community connects millions of makers every month, from first-timers to industry icons. We're building the Creative Agents that will define how those creators work in an AI-native world. Behind every good agent is a lot of high-leverage execution: the tools it can call, the skills it knows, and whether each one actually works when a creator needs it. Right now a lot of our focus sits at the harness and model level — we still need to dig deeper into the tools and skills layer, and it needs a dedicated owner.
This is a hands-on role. You'll live in the details of how our tools and skills behave, drive fit-and-finish across the experience, ship improvements constantly, and build the measurement that lets a fast-moving team know it's getting better. You'll sit embedded in a cross-functional team of PMs, designers, and engineers, partner closely with our AI Platform (AIP) team, and use AI by default in everything you do.
What you'll do
- Own the tools and skills lifecycle end to end — triage what the agent needs, spec it, coordinate the build with engineering, test it, and iterate based on how it performs in the wild. This is the core of the role.
- Own UX fit-and-finish prioritization — partner with design to sequence the UX polish work across tools and skills, make the calls on what ships when, and push it through to done.
- Improve tool and skill quality day to day — hunt down flaky triggers, wrong outputs, and rough edges, and drive them to fixes before creators feel them.
- Help build out evals — partner with the team on defining what "good" looks like for each tool and skill, building test sets, and turning fuzzy quality issues into measurable, trackable signal.
- Work with AIP — partner with the AI Platform team on tools and skills integration and dependencies, and make sure our needs are represented in their roadmap.
- Structure and refine prompts and system instructions, running tight experiment loops to improve how tools and skills behave.
- Close the loop with clear, regular reporting on tool and skill quality and reliability so the whole team knows where things stand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A background in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
- 5+ years in product management or an equivalent area, shipping consumer or creator products.
- Enough technical depth to work closely with engineers, reason about how tools and skills are built, and dig into root causes yourself.
- Daily, hands-on use of AI tools, and genuine curiosity about how agents and LLMs behave.
- A track record of driving UX quality and fit-and-finish across a product, working closely with design, and prioritizing well when there's more to do than time to do it.
- Strong data and experimentation instincts: you can define a metric, read a dashboard, and tell signal from noise.
- Clear communication and a track record of leading and prioritizing across functions.
- Bonus: experience with prompt engineering, evals, LLM tooling, or building for creators / UGC.
