About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Team

Informatica's Strategic Ecosystem Alliances team drives the technical,  business and go to market relationships with our most important cloud and platform and industry leading Data and AI partners. This team is responsible for defining partnership strategy, driving co-innovation with partners and developing differentiated joint value propositions for the partnerships.  The team works internally with product leadership, externally with partner product management and supports sales and customers by developing joint architectures, go-to-market motions, and technical credibility in the field.

About the Role

We're looking for a Director, Alliances – Technical Evangelist to be a key technical voice of Informatica within our Strategic Ecosystem partnerships.  You'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and partner go-to-market — deeply fluent in the Informatica portfolio and equally fluent in our partners' platforms and services. Your super power is identifying and driving collaborations to unit those worlds and create outsized value, then evangelize, architect, and demonstrate that value to partners, customers, and internal stakeholders alike.

This is a senior, externally-facing role that blends technical depth with executive-level communication. You'll need to be equally comfortable whiteboarding a reference architecture with a partner's field engineers and presenting the business case for a joint solution to a customer's CIO.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership & Co-Innovation Strategy

  • Own the technical relationship with assigned Strategic Ecosystem partners - building trust with their technical and product teams.
  • Identify co-innovation opportunities — joint engineering, integration, or solution initiatives — that create measurable differentiation for Informatica in the partner's ecosystem.
  • Build prototypes - rapidly build prototypes and demo's of integrations, agentic workflows and joint solutions
  • Support and help drive the ground-breaking changes (product, technical, or go-to-market) needed to hit shared partnership objectives, informed by deep industry and product expertise.

Technical Evangelism & Enablement

  • Serve as the go-to expert on Informatica's value proposition and how the broader product portfolio fits into and extends partner platforms and drives differentiation.
  • Build and maintain working expertise in partner products, services, and go-to-market motions — enough to speak credibly to their sellers and architects.
  • Develop reference architectures, technical demonstrations, and solution patterns that show customers and partners how Informatica plus the partner platform solves real problems.
  • Represent Informatica at partner and industry events, webinars, and enablement sessions as a credible technical voice.

Customer & Field Engagement

  • Partner with account teams and partner sellers on strategic opportunities, diagnosing product and services gaps and articulating the right combined solution.
  • Translate complex technical integrations into clear, business-friendly language for executive audiences — CIOs, VPs of Data, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Bring executive presence to high-stakes conversations, building confidence with both partner leadership and customer decision-makers.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with the Informatica product portfolio.
  • Direct experience and understanding of agentic use cases and protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent to Agent (A2A) and Agentic Resource Discovery (ARD).
  • Solid grasp of the Data Foundation value proposition and where Informatica fits within it.
  • Direct experience working with cloud platform and/or leading AI and Data companies — their products, services, and go-to-market approaches.
  • Demonstrated executive presence with a track record of influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in technical demonstration and reference architecture design.
  • Excellent ability to distill complex technical integrations into simple business terms.
  • Track record of identifying, scoping, and closing co-innovation opportunities with ecosystem partners.
  • 8+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, technical alliances, or architecture role, with several years specifically in partner/alliance-facing work
  • A related technical degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the data management, integration, or data foundation software space.
  • Prior experience working with a hyperscaler (Google Cloud, Oracle, AWS, Microsoft) partner organization.
  • Public speaking or evangelism experience — conference talks, webinars, partner enablement sessions.
  • Background in solutions architecture or technical consulting with enterprise customers.

What Success Looks Like

  • A pipeline of active co-innovation initiatives with assigned Strategic Ecosystem partners.
  • Reusable reference architectures and demos adopted by field and partner sellers.
  • Seen as the subject matter expert for your assigned partners - including development and publishing of thought leadership content int he form of blogs, best practices and eBooks, video demonstrations and working prototypes of integrations.
  • Measurable influence on joint deals — shortened sales cycles or expanded deal size where Informatica + partner solutions are positioned together.
