Senior Corporate Counsel, Agentic Commerce Experiences

Amazon is looking for a talented senior lawyer to support a team building agentic shopping experiences to delight our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a team focused on building exceptional and innovative customer experiences.

You will lead and negotiate complex transactions and develop strategies for handling key legal issues in creative, business-centric ways.

Key job responsibilities
- Independently draft, structure, and negotiate complex commercial and transaction agreements
- Manage multiple deals at once, moving each from start to close
- Advise on complex issues, including privacy and other regulatory matters
- Provide day-to-day, customer-focused advice
- Work effectively across business, department, and cross-functional stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- 10+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent
- Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent
- Experience negotiating AI/ML-related commercial agreements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
