About the role
Original posting provided by Microsoft
Microsoft's Business Applications ecosystem is at the center of how customers adopt AI. Dynamics 365 runs the core customer operations of enterprises worldwide, and the partners who implement, extend and sell those solutions determine how fast that value reaches customers. This role sits on the ecosystem team that drives and engages that partner channel, and it owns some of the channel's highest-leverage motions: surgical investment programs that accelerate partner-led growth and the evolution of industry software vendors from application builders into agent builders.
This is an individual contributor role with broad cross-functional influence and significant external engagement at partner-executive level. You will be accountable for outcomes measured in partner capacity, partner-driven revenue, and partner-driven customer adoption rather than in deliverables shipped.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
Responsibilities
Own partner sales capacity investment programs that build partner selling capabilities, covering the full lifecycle: investment planning, governance, performance management, and the recurring business reviews that hold partners accountable to agreed outcomes.
Build and sustain executive relationships across the partner portfolio, acting as the primary Microsoft point of contact for capacity investment and translating partner feedback into program improvements.
Lead Microsoft's engagement with Business Applications ISVs building solutions and extensions across the Business Applications portfolio, helping them evolve their offerings into industry-specific AI agents.
Accelerate ISV adoption of Microsoft's agent platform strategy, working with engineering and product teams to close capability gaps and with partner programs and marketplace teams to bring the resulting solutions to customers.
Represent the partner ecosystem in internal planning forums, and represent the business externally at partner events, executive briefings and industry conferences
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., cloud services, security), technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support, or cross-group/cross-functional engineering
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 12+ years experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., cloud services, security), technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support, or cross-group/cross-functional engineering
- OR equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ownership of a multi-partner investment or incentive program, including budget accountability and executive-level performance reporting.
Experience with Dynamics 365 or a comparable enterprise ERP or CRM platform, and a working understanding of how systems integrators and ISVs build practices around them.
Experience with ISV go-to-market motions, including marketplace and co-sell channels, and familiarity with AI agent platforms and the emerging market for industry-specific agents.
A track record of influencing without authority across sales, engineering, marketing and finance organizations.
Comfort building something new: taking an unproven motion from concept through pilot to a repeatable program.
Executive presence and the communication skills to hold a business review with a partner CEO and a program review with company leadership in the same week.
