Amazon's Selling Partner Communities (SPC) organization is looking for a Director to lead Selling Partner Content & Communications (SPCC). This is the organization responsible for what content sellers see, which sellers see it, when they see it, and through which channel. It is a high judgment, high visibility leadership role that directly shapes the experience of millions of independent sellers who represent over 60% of units sold on Amazon.com.

This leader will be the single threaded owner of Amazon's seller communications ecosystem, spanning strategic communications, seller events, product marketing, creative content, and program management. The role requires someone who can operate at the strategic altitude of shaping Amazon's seller narrative while diving deep into operational execution across channels and partner teams. Every major seller facing announcement flows through this organization: fee changes, policy launches, enforcement actions, product releases, and high velocity events. The right leader brings high judgment, earns trust at every level, is right a lot, and has the ability to look around corners and think two steps ahead of the business. This person must be able to influence without authority across dozens of partner teams and coordinate the most complex, cross functional communications challenges at Amazon.

This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, makes the right call under pressure, and can hold both the seller's perspective and Amazon's business priorities in tension without defaulting to easy answers.

Key job responsibilities
Seller Events and High Velocity Events: Own end to end communications strategy for Amazon's highest stakes seller moments: Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Holiday, and Seller Events (New Seller Summit, Seller Growth Summit, Amazon Accelerate)
Drive dynamic, personalized communication plans that adapt based on each seller's readiness and context
Lead multi channel event playbooks and cross functional coordination with partner teams
Own Accelerate scripting and event content strategy

Strategic Communications Management: Own the writing, execution, and amplification of all strategic communications across internal seller facing and external audiences
Lead mass, high impact communications including policy launches, fee announcements, enforcement messaging, and major product launches, working upstream with product and policy teams from the earliest stages of development
Own Amazon's seller related external communications strategy in partnership with PR and SER, including proactive and reactive media inquiries and executive thought leadership
Manage the monthly external seller communications mechanism providing L10 level visibility into the upcoming calendar of key announcements across the seller business
Lead an editorial team managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 communications at scale

Product Marketing, GTM, and Creative Content: Own the full lifecycle of how Amazon brings seller facing products and programs to market, from defining what we communicate, to whom, when, and through which channels
Build GTM plans coordinating across product, PR, legal, and support teams, defining the right message, audience, timing, and channel for every key launch
Drive product adoption through compelling go to market execution that meets sellers where they are
Produce brand consistent creative assets, seller spotlight series, and learning experiences with multi channel adaptations across all seller facing surfaces
Own the global @SellonAmazon social presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube

Program Management and Metrics: Own seller satisfaction goals including the SPS level goal to reduce WW Seller Communications related dissatisfaction
Manage content governance and orchestration: centralized intake, quality assurance, and bar raising across all seller facing communications
Own content performance analytics, omni channel measurement, and the Transparency Index
Serve as the connective tissue between change management, support, and enforcement teams, ensuring no communication reaches sellers without proper coordination and that the cumulative impact on sellers is always considered
