We're building a finance function that stays ahead of the curve - leveraging AI, automation, and modern tooling to operate at the pace Databricks demands. We are looking for two Consolidations Managers to join our Global Accounting team based in India. These are foundational hires - you will own the end-to-end consolidation and intercompany accounting process across Databricks' 23-entity global footprint, build deep SAP Group Reporting expertise during our S/4HANA implementation, and establish the permanent organisational capability that scales with the business post go-live.

This role blends hands-on consolidation execution with technical accounting judgment. As part of the Global Accounting organisation, you will ensure the accurate and timely production of consolidated financial statements under both US GAAP and IFRS, while partnering closely with International Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Tax, and FP&A to drive close integrity across all reporting frameworks.

The impact you will have:

  • Own and execute the global consolidation process end-to-end - intercompany reconciliation, elimination entries, currency translation, and multi-entity roll-up across our 23-entity footprint.
  • Lead multi-GAAP close execution, producing parallel US GAAP and IFRS consolidated books each period, identifying and documenting reconciling differences for audit and leadership review.
  • Build and own SAP Group Reporting expertise - serve as the accounting team's subject matter expert on SAP's consolidation engine, including configuration, period-end processing, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Execute intercompany accounting across all entities - ensuring balances are reconciled, disputes are resolved within the close window, and elimination entries are complete and accurate.
  • Perform monthly consolidation flux analysis, identifying and clearly articulating drivers behind significant period-over-period movements for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Own FX translation and revaluation accounting - functional currency determination, translation adjustments, and CTA reconciliation across all international entities.
  • Support new entity stand-up - partner with Tax, Legal, and International Accounting to establish consolidation processes, intercompany agreements, and reporting structures for new international selling entities as Databricks expands.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external audit on consolidation, intercompany, and multi-GAAP reporting matters. Champion compliance with SOX controls across the consolidation process.
  • Drive AI and automation adoption across consolidation workflows - including automated intercompany matching, elimination entry generation, and reconciliation tooling leveraging the Databricks platform.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Close & Consolidation (US) to ensure seamless handoff and time-zone coverage for the most time-sensitive part of the global close.

What we look for:

  • BA/BS Degree with a focus in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 10+ years progressive accounting experience, with at least 5+ years specifically in consolidation, intercompany accounting, or international accounting within a US multinational framework.
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP consolidation requirements (ASC 810, ASC 830) and working knowledge of IFRS consolidation standards (IFRS 10, IAS 21). Multi-GAAP reporting experience is strongly preferred.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience required - specifically SAP Group Reporting or SAP BPC. Candidates with implementation experience will be prioritized.
  • Proven experience managing intercompany accounting at scale - reconciliation, netting, dispute resolution, and elimination across a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
  • Experience with FX translation, functional currency assessment, and CTA accounting across complex international structures.
  • Proven track record driving automation and process improvement in consolidation or close operations.
  • Experience supporting external audits and SOX compliance in a consolidation context.
  • Proven experience partnering with remote teams across different geographic areas, including with US-based accounting leadership, and the flexibility to support close timelines that span US Pacific Time hours.
