In this role, you will provide the insights and frameworks that help senior leaders make placement decisions balancing customer experience (faster delivery, higher in-stock rates) with Amazon's cost to serve. You will operate at the intersection of inbound transportation, fulfillment center operations, and outbound shipment, translating complex supply chain trade-offs into clear financial narratives that drive action. - Lead financial planning for placement across OP1, OP2, and QxG cycles, ensuring plan alignment across all organizations impacted by how inventory enters the network and preparing VP-level narratives and bridges
- Deliver trade-off analyses and variance deep-dives through weekly WBR support that directly inform execution decisions, helping leaders weigh customer experience against cost to serve
- Own the placement valuation framework and serve as the single source of truth on methodology, assumptions, and financial impact
- Pressure-test benefit entitlements for placement initiatives regardless of where they originate, validating assumptions and ensuring consistency in planning and reporting
- Champion AI adoption to accelerate analysis and continuously explore new ways to deliver insights faster
