Key job responsibilities
Organize and communicate program and mechanism deadlines, coordinate program-level initiatives across senior managers, collaborate laterally with adjacent organizations, track and report on key metrics and progress, run business mechanisms, lead planning for business events, and manage headcount, workforce planning, and recruiting initiatives.
Serve as a strategic and operational partner to Alexa Connections leadership, establishing mechanisms that translate organizational priorities into clear plans, accountable owners, measurable goals, and timely decisions.
Drive cross-functional GTM programs that align Alexa Connections’ positioning, product value proposition, and launch plans with the broader Alexa+ strategy and customer experience.
Create mechanisms that surface and scale bottom-up innovation across the Connections organization, translating emerging ideas and customer insights into prioritized, customer-obsessed product experiences.
Develop crisp, high-quality marketing and communication materials for product launches and other key business moments, including positioning, messaging, launch narratives, FAQs, executive briefings, and partner-facing collateral.
Define and drive product and partnership strategies that enable the efficient onboarding and scaling of third-party partners. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, remove onboarding friction, and establish shared success measures.
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring that partnership opportunities support the organization’s product roadmap, customer experience, and long-term growth objectives.

The day in the life of a program manager on the Alexa Connections team is full of coordination, communication, and driving deadlines. You will drive key planning and coordination activities between managers and individual contributors. As Chief of Staff, you will move fluidly between strategic planning, operating reviews, product and launch working sessions, partner discussions, executive communications, and program execution. On any given day, you may align teams around a GTM decision, develop materials for a product launch, evaluate a third-party partnership opportunity, surface a bottom-up innovation proposal, or establish the mechanisms needed to move a complex initiative forward.
