Summary

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.

Apple is looking for a multifaceted, highly motivated Business Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM) Finance team supporting AI. This is a rare opportunity to provide the financial lens to one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving areas of Apple's product roadmap. As the Business Manager for AI, you will collaborate across an exceptionally broad set of partners — from Product Marketing to Services, Engineering, Infrastructure, and beyond — and have direct exposure to the highest levels of decision making at Apple.

We're looking for a true finance athlete: someone who can context switch with ease, ramp quickly on unfamiliar topics, and operate effectively across a wide range of teams and problem types. The lean structure of Business Management fosters high business ownership and offers a unique platform to influence strategic decisions at Apple from product concept to launch.

Description

Influence and drive business and product decisions for Apple's AI roadmap in cross-functional partnership with Product Marketing Managers, Services, Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, Customer Analytics, Sales and Market Research
Advise on business model opportunities, feature arbitration, and line-up decisions with business analyses considering revenue, cost, and margin implications by integrating a multitude of varied data sources
Partner closely with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to understand the cost drivers behind AI features and translate technical complexity into clear financial insight
Collaborate with the Services team to align on shared business questions, ensuring AI-related decisions are evaluated holistically across the Apple ecosystem
Absorb and dissect usage trends, customer activation trends, buyer surveys, external market research, and technical performance benchmarks to inform product and business strategy
Integrate various datasets to create, present, and defend demand forecasts, scenarios, and other business insights to senior leadership
Support stealth investigations, special projects, and ad-hoc requests for senior Apple leadership

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role with frequent exposure to business case and scenario modeling
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

A true finance athlete — adaptable, agile, and able to context switch seamlessly across multiple workstreams, business areas, and stakeholder groups
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across a broad and varied set of partners, including Product Marketing, Services, Engineering, Infrastructure, and other technical teams
Comfort navigating product, engineering, and infrastructure topics with a keen interest to ramp quickly on new and unfamiliar technical content
Deep passion for Apple's products and mission, and a genuine interest in AI and its implications for Apple's business
Ability to work comfortably under ambiguity to deliver fully developed and well-reasoned analyses
Strong and structured communicator, able to distill complexity for a wide range of audiences
Ownership mindset and high agency to take a proactive role in leading project work-streams from end-to-end
Strong attention to detail and the ability to "see around corners"
High proficiency in Excel modeling, with strong competency (or aptitude to learn) in SQL, Tableau, R, and Python
Adept at managing senior stakeholder relationships across both finance and non-finance partners
