Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS)-Core accelerates customer outcomes and business growth. By uniting product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and partners around a common customer mission, we help customers realize value faster and turn innovation into measurable business impact. Through deep technical expertise and differentiated go-to-market execution, we win competitively, capture market share, and scale repeatable growth motions. We differentiate through value creation - delivering world-class, AI-powered customer experiences that accelerate adoption, strengthen loyalty, and create sustainable competitive advantage, driving growth that outpaces the market.

The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) for MCAPS-Core turns technical insight and innovation into scalable customer and business outcomes. OCTO advances priorities across quality and resiliency, customer value acceleration, AI-driven insights that improve business decision-making and Customer Zero programs that drive operational efficiency.

The OCTO Chief of Staff team creates the organizational operating system that enables leaders and teams to focus, decide, and execute. We integrate the rhythm of business, portfolio governance, financial and workforce planning, executive communications, organizational health, and cross-team operations into clear, repeatable mechanisms.

As a Business Manager, Chief of Staff Team, you will support the OCTO Executive Office, serving as a strategic and operational partner to the Chief of Staff and leadership team. You will translate leadership priorities into coordinated plans, decision forums, and execution mechanisms; provide clear business insights; and drive follow-through across a complex, globally distributed organization.

This opportunity will allow you to build deep business acumen, gain experience operating with senior technical and business leaders, and strengthen your ability to influence across organizational boundaries. You will work across business operations, finance, human resources, communications, and program teams to improve clarity, accountability, organizational health, and execution speed. The Business Manager, Chief of Staff Team is a trusted operator who combines strategic thinking with disciplined execution. You are comfortable working through ambiguity, anticipating needs, and connecting financial, organizational, and portfolio signals into a coherent point of view. You communicate with precision, build durable relationships, exercise sound judgment with sensitive information, and create practical mechanisms that help leaders make better decisions and teams deliver stronger outcomes.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
