We are looking for a talented attorney to help support some of our most cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives, as we continue to bring delightful new products and services to our customers around the world.

Key job responsibilities
You will serve as the primary point-of-contact supporting certain key AI product initiatives being developed for our external customers and internal use. You will provide input on business and strategy related to a broad range of issues of first impression in artificial intelligence. You will partner with and cross-functional stakeholders to invent, simplify, and implement innovative solutions. And you’ll do all of this with support from and in collaboration with a dynamic, global team of experienced lawyers at Amazon Legal.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be innovative and scrappy, enthusiastic, and enjoy working hard, enjoy being challenged, and thrive working in a team-oriented environment. You will also need to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations and be adept at driving consensus.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
