Amazon provides enterprises the opportunity to sell their goods on the Amazon platform worldwide, and more than 2 million Sellers have been using this Marketplace service today. Amazon is developing infrastructure to support this growth around the world, particularly in the booming cross-border selling area. Korea SAS-Pro (Strategic Account Services - Pro) is a fast-expanding program aiming to provide Korea-based Sellers with professional and value-added services including account management and consulting services to drive Sellers to maximize their presence and business on Amazon Global marketplaces, while enhancing Seller experience and improving the Amazon end customer experience by enabling more selection, better input management, and fewer defects in their shopping experience.

In this context, the Amazon Korea Global Selling SAS-Pro team is seeking an experienced Account Manager who will work closely with Sellers to monitor and drive business performance, provide 1:1 consultancy to explore business opportunities, and generate strategic solutions to drive business growth. The role involves managing relationships with Sellers, developing strategies for Sellers' global accounts to maximize business growth, and delivering first-class service for Seller satisfaction. The ideal candidate will also understand the Seller experience on Amazon, generate Seller insights, and work backwards with Amazon product teams to improve features, services, and policies.

Key job responsibilities
The successful Account Manager will:

1. Conduct deep-dive analysis on key factors affecting Seller business performance, diagnose root causes, and provide actionable plans covering operational improvements, product development, and process improvement.
2. Generate Seller learnings including but not limited to Seller experience with Amazon features, services, policies, and multi-channel strategy. Translate these into Seller insights that indicate Amazon business opportunities.
3. Implement account management best practices and SOPs into the business development framework.
4. Drive Seller growth and success on Amazon through selection expansion, conversion enhancement, advertising optimization, and feature adoption.
5. Develop a thorough understanding of assigned product/industry categories, including seasonality and global business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
6. Generate category insights and scale category growth.
7. Demonstrate strong ownership in issue resolution by proactively identifying Seller pain points, conducting thorough root-cause analysis, and driving issues to complete resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive product/feature/service innovations based on in-depth Seller learnings and insights to further improve Seller business and satisfaction.

A day in the life
- Analyze Seller performance metrics across Amazon marketplace using internal dashboards and data tools to identify growth opportunities in selection, conversion, and advertising.
- Conduct 1:1 consultations with Korean brand Sellers, translating marketplace data into actionable recommendations on listing optimization, deal/promotion strategy, and FBA logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Catalog, Advertising, FBA) to resolve Seller operational issues and remove blockers to business growth.
- Monitor Japan market trends, category-level developments, and competitor activity to inform Seller strategy and identify whitespace opportunities.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to accelerate research, synthesize Seller data, and draft strategic recommendations.
- Own end-to-end Seller success: from onboarding and goal-setting through quarterly business reviews and annual business planning.
