You will play a meaningful role within the Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team leading the definition, development and deployment of technical solutions across Apple’s Operations, Retail, AppleCare, and other critical functions. This person would work cross-functionally with global functional, technical teams to ensure Apple is deploying solutions that meet our regulatory requirements, while integrating business requirements with future systems architecture, business impact assessments, and future operating models. This person would also play a critical role in the rollout of Apple's next generation retail fulfillment systems and integrated operations model. Experience managing business stakeholders and regional teams across a global operating model is also required. Prior hands-on retail online fulfillment, marketplace, and store systems experience with a leading global retailer is preferred. Knowledge of enterprise software, integration, and data management technologies (e.g. Cloud Computing, API Web-services, AI data platforms, etc.) is required.

Description

The WW PMO team is responsible for driving cross-functional execution of enterprise-wide regulatory initiatives across Apple. The team collaborates across multiple business and technology stakeholders to translate complex, evolving data privacy regulatory requirements into actionable systems and process changes — extending across a large, highly interconnected landscape of localized and global systems architectures. This role sits at the intersection of technology innovation, legal partnership, and business transformation with the ability to move with urgency against non-negotiable regulatory deadlines. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

Manage complex, large-scale projects involving several WW and regional teams across multiple continents to meet urgent deadlines on regulatory programs
Align Worldwide and Regional teams to the regulatory data privacy compliance program across numerous Apple teams
Serve as the primary liaison between the BPR PMO and cross-functional retail business stakeholders to quickly surface and resolve ambiguity around program scope, requirements, and regulatory decisions
Translate regulatory and business changes into clear, actionable system and process requirements that engineering and business teams can execute against
Maintain tight control over scope, timelines, and cross-program dependencies across a highly complex, in-country systems landscape
Ensure all business, technology,, and regulatory decisions remain owned and approved by the appropriate business leadership
Step into critical program delivery roles under pressure when needed to ensure continuity and on-time execution against strict regulatory deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Business, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in cross-functional program or portfolio management within a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment.
5+ years experience with data privacy regulations.
5+ years experience with enterprise software, integration, and data management technologies (e.g. Cloud Computing, API Web-services, AI data platforms, etc.)
5+ years of retail operations processes — online fulfillment/marketplace, point-of-sale, customer support, and forward/reverse logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding with data privacy regulations. to drive alignment across Legal, Privacy, or Regulatory teams to define scope and translate requirements into executable program plans.
Proven ability to keep scope, timeline, and dependencies on track while ensuring all compliance decisions are made by Legal/Privacy team.
Exceptional communication skills — verbal, written, and executive presentation — with the ability to synthesize complexity for senior leadership audiences.
Experience integrating business transformation with systems architecture, operating model design, and organizational change management.
Comfortable operating in collaborative environments with high ambiguity; able to bring structure and clarity where none exists.
Experience with enterprise program management tools (e.g. Wrike, Jira, Smartsheet) and familiarity with IS&T delivery models.
Able to operate independently with conviction, influence without authority, and drive cross functional teams to the right decisions with speed and precision.
Adept at managing competing priorities across Legal, business, and technical stakeholders while keeping the program on track.
Master's degree required in Business, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
