Position: Senior Manager, Operations - AMZ11046.19

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operations objectives for one functional area of fulfillment center (inbound or outbound).
2. Manage and lead a team of operations and area managers, coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, and build positive employee relations and leadership bench strength within the fulfillment center.
3. Use lean process improvement methodologies and performance metrics to increase efficiency within processes.
4. Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other lean initiatives to enable functional area and the fulfillment center to meet and exceed business plan.
5. Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience of either inbound or outbound operations.
6. Participate in the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations.
7. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for operations and area managers.
8. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold operations managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.
9. Leverage the operations and area managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area.
10. Ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and among the network.
11. Work closely with support staff (HR, finance, facilities, safety, it and other sr. operations managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $135000 - $182700)

Basic Qualifications
