The Amazon Ads Creative Experiences Design team is seeking a self-motivated, ownership-minded, and nimble Senior Design Program Manager to be a force multiplier for our UX Design, Design Technology, and Research organization. We push the boundaries of interactive advertising, creating premium experiences across Amazon Store, Prime Video, Alexa, Fire TV, Groceries, and third-party publishers—connecting hundreds of millions of customers with brands across every category.

In this role, you will partner closely with Design leadership and collaborate across Design, Research, Product, Engineering, and Program Management to turn strategy into action. You will drive planning and prioritization across a complex portfolio, lead strategic design programs, manage dependencies and risks, and create mechanisms that help teams move faster and stay connected. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring both product commitments and design-led initiatives make meaningful progress, while helping our organization operate effectively at scale. Key job responsibilities
• Partner with Design leadership to operationalize strategy, translating priorities into clear programs, roadmaps, milestones, resource plans, and operating mechanisms.
• Program manage strategic, design-led initiatives ensuring they make meaningful progress alongside ongoing product delivery.
• Drive design execution across the portfolio, creating visibility into priorities, dependencies, capacity, risks, and milestones while empowering designers to own their work and timelines.
• Connect Design, Product, Engineering, Research, and cross-functional teams, ensuring dependencies are understood, decisions happen at the right level, and obstacles are proactively identified and resolved.
• Build and continuously improve lightweight, scalable mechanisms for planning, prioritization, design reviews, leadership reviews, communication, and cross-team collaboration.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, working sessions, and team offsites with Design leadership, turning strategic discussions into clear decisions, ownership, and actionable outcomes.
• Strengthen design organizational effectiveness and culture by increasing transparency, connecting related work, defining measures of success, and fostering collaboration and shared accountability across the team.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
