Job Description: 

Intel is seeking a well-known industry figure to lead and shape our manageability standards engagement strategy for Intel's data center business. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison to industry standards bodies, ensuring Intel is at the forefront of defining and adopting next-generation compute and storage infrastructure standards. You will help guide our strategic direction by engaging in standards development activities, synthesizing ecosystem trends, and aligning internal engineering efforts with industry evolution. You will also be responsible to lead Intel's standards-based manageability strategy, translating between internal product requirements / roadmaps with standards and specifications, working broadly with customers and partners to advance both the state of the industry, as well as Intel's roadmaps and implementations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 12+ years of experience in system software architecture, OR Master's degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience, OR PhD in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience. - Proven expertise in system software architecture, including firmware, frameworks, drivers, and protocols. - Demonstrated experience within industry standards communities, preferably in leadership roles. - Working knowledge of customer, market, and ecosystem requirements, with a track record of engaging with industry stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications - Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and build consensus across diverse teams. - Board of Directors or leadership experience in relevant industry consortia. - Credibility as a subject-matter expert in industry standards for software manageability. - Strategic thinking, leadership potential, and adaptability to evolving industry trends. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $233,990.00-330,340.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
