Amazon is the most customer-centric company on earth. We need exceptionally talented, customer-centric, bright, and driven people. We are looking for an organized self-starter to join the Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) team at Amazon.

Amazon Transportation Services have built world-class Middle Mile operations, which rely on an exceptional pool of carriers who work relentlessly to meet our customers’ expectations. TRC is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as a Transportation Risk Specialist, responsible for making our compliance and monitoring programs run better, faster, and smarter, while safeguarding the health of the organization and driving a culture of compliance both internally and externally.

The right candidate is someone who understands compliance and monitoring environments well enough to spot what's inefficient, and has the technical capability to fix it or architect the fix. The successful candidate will be comfortable inheriting ambiguity, reshaping processes that aren't working, and building solutions that scale. They will have exceptional attention to detail and strong data-driven and tech mindset and capabilities, but also excellent soft skills for stakeholder management and earning teams' trust. Finally, the successful candidate will display good team spirit and autonomy.

If you wish to innovate on behalf of customers, are passionate about driving compliance and reducing risks, and desire to make history, come join our team!

Key job responsibilities
-Execute and improve audit and monitoring activities by identifying inefficiencies in how they are designed, configured, and executed — then building or coordinating technical solutions
- Automate and streamline internal team workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing consistency in how work gets planned, tracked, and delivered
-Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence
-Participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary

About the team
TRC’s mission is to empower Amazon’s transportation business and its partners to do the right thing for the community at large, with a vision to inform decision-making that drives business growth through world-class scalable risk management solutions. Through ongoing compliance monitoring and risk management activities, we provide transportation leaders with the data they need to make informed risk management decisions.

Basic Qualifications
