Are you energized by the idea of driving event marketing campaigns that reach hundreds of thousands of cloud and AI builders? The AWS Event Demand Generation team is looking for an experienced demand generation manager to lead marketing campaigns for events such as AWS Summits, our flagship global event series.

In this role, you will drive the marketing engine from strategy through execution, including audience growth and acquisition, messaging and positioning, campaigns and promotions, cross-organizational alignment and enablement, and analysis and optimization.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in event marketing, proven expertise in developing and overseeing growth strategies, crafting messaging, and driving alignment across marketing. Experience operating in a global organization preferred. Excellent communication skills are a requirement, as well as the ability to analyze results, adapt quickly based on performance, and clearly articulate results to senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities
This role owns end-to-end demand generation for AWS global events. Core responsibilities include:

- Managing integrated demand gen planning, strategy, and execution for multi-channel event campaigns
- Orchestrating cross-functional marketing teams to drive campaign execution and delivery
- Driving audience growth and improving customer engagement for our global events
- Monitoring real-time performance, analyzing registration/ attendance trends and channel metrics, and making data-driven optimization decisions
- Partnering with regional marketing teams to align demand generation messaging and positioning with local customer needs
- Communicating results to leadership and stakeholders

A day in the life
Your morning starts with a team stand-up where you surface risks and align priorities across your active campaigns. From there, you're reviewing registration dashboards, providing feedback on creative assets, and jumping on calls with channel partners to optimize tactics and audiences. You might spend the afternoon analyzing A/B test results, adjusting your channel mix based on performance data, or collaborating with event and field marketing teams on messaging for an upcoming milestone. No two days look the same, but every day you're driving measurable impact toward event goals and customer experiences.
