Description
Apple is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to drive programs focused on building Apple’s Cloud Observability and Storage Platforms. Our cloud platforms power many features we all love in our Apple products and they must scale globally, be highly available, performant, and simply "just work".

Responsibilities
You'll partner with a diverse set of teams across Apple to develop the manage the platform that powers many workloads across Apple. Systems within this scope are complex.
This role requires you to build trust with engineering partners and persistently remove ambiguity by seeking to reduce complexity.
You will not only be expected to be able to readily understand complicated and subtle interdependencies, but also to evaluate new requests and new information in light of these systems.
Being able to think on your feet is important, as is the ability to thoughtfully and efficiently debate the validity of a given approach to any aspect of a project under your control.
Needless to say, strong social and interpersonal skills are required for this role.
Your work will be incredibly important to maintain and improve Apple’s most critical cloud services.
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of engineering program managers in the cloud infrastructure domain, specifically observability and cloud storage focus areas.
Strong background in software delivery, and services infrastructure engineering
Proficient in software development processes (SDLC), and comfortable with various project management methodologies
Experience with risk analysis as well as developing, prioritizing and leading the roadmap
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or deep relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
Prior engineering, infrastructure, or software development program management experience for Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps strongly preferred.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,400 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
