We are seeking a proficient Director of Product Management–AI Skilling to lead a team of talented product managers in creating user-centered products, designs, and insights that guide the development of innovative products and services. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Research, and Marketing, to help ensure our products meet user needs.



Responsibilities

 

The Director of Product Management, AI Skilling will define and lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of AI-powered learning and workforce skilling solutions that empower individuals and organizations to thrive in the AI era. This leader will drive innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, education, and workforce transformation, partnering across engineering, design, research, business, and customer teams to deliver impactful products at global scale.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Director of Product Management, AI Skilling: 
 
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Drive the end to end product vision, strategy and roadmap for new products and experiences.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from customer insight and concept development through design, engineering, launch, and global scale, ensuring rapid execution and measurable business impact.
  • Establish product practices that balance speed, quality, and scalability, enabling teams to ship quickly and continuously improve customer outcomes.
  • Build and scale AI-native products and platforms by translating customer needs into clear product requirements, prioritizing investments, and driving cross-functional alignment to deliver impactful solutions at global scale.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and leads, providing guidance, support, and career development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, and other non-technical stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design and research. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in our product building, design processes and methodologies.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that product and design deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards. Effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.

  • 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 10+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 10+ years of experience improving the market position of a product, feature, or experience, such as expanding adoption or providing a differentiated alternative to an established product.
  • 10+ years of experience defining, building, shipping, and scaling digital products from concept to production.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), copilots, agents, or machine learning technologies to solve customer problems.
  • Experience partnering closely with UX Design, User Research, and Engineering teams to define product requirements and deliver customer-centric experiences.
  • Experience building and operating products at scale serving large customer populations (consumer, enterprise, or marketplace products).
  • Experience navigating ambiguous environments, coordinating across multiple stakeholders, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative customer insights to inform product strategy and prioritization.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and mentoring product and design teams that build consumer-facing products.
  • Experience in AI-powered learning, skilling, workforce transformation, education technology (EdTech), learning platforms, or creator learning ecosystems is preferred.
  • Experience taking products from concept through launch and scaling them to serve millions of active users.
  • Experience partnering with and leading alongside Design organizations to create intuitive, engaging, and differentiated customer experiences.


Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $165,600 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
