Job Description

This position is based in San Francisco, CA.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. We're looking for a Strategic Finance Associate to elevate our Premium Product's performance within our Strategic Finance team. This role is central to enhancing product strategy, driving monetization, and ensuring member satisfaction.

In this role, you will be empowered to make substantial contributions that amplify our product's success. Your work will directly impact our strategic direction, operational agility, and the overall excellence of our Premium Product line as we eagerly grow the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Product partnership: Work closely with product stakeholders to facilitate strategic planning, target setting, and the initiation of key projects, supporting the product's growth and strategic direction.
  • Performance Management: Analyze key metrics to provide insights, assess product health, and ensure alignment with our broader business objectives
  • Strategic Excellence: Champion improvements to processes to continuously deliver greater impact to business growth and support to business partners
  • Identify, scope, and execute upon strategic initiatives to support product success and drive monetization 
  • Develop comprehensive insights into product performance, guiding strategic direction, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement  
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of our various businesses and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities  
  • Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional teams (including Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Business Development, and other internal groups) working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal  
  • Define and drive analyses aimed at developing a deep and holistic understanding of product performance, growth drivers, and trending 
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the business to ensure it is operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive improvements as needed 
  • Communicate key insights to senior leaders and the cross-functional team 
  • Contribute to broader corporate initiatives both on an on-going, and on an ad-hoc basis  
  • Communicate effectively across all levels within the team to including, cross-functional partners, leadership, and executives

  • 1+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a strategy-centric role with a focus on quantitative analysis such as consulting, business operations or strategic finance

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $83,000 to $133,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
