Within Identity, the User Authentication team owns the unified platform for Enterprise and Consumer across users, user like agents, digital workers, devices and securing AI. We are hiring a Principal Engineering Manager to set the technical direction for securing the platform as well as securing the customers with velocity and quality. As a Principal Engineering Manager, you will define strategy, build world-class teams, and deliver foundational capabilities that power unphishable modern credentials, protocol modernization, post quantum readiness and the next generation of secure AI and agentic system on a unified platform. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years people management experience.
- Experience in either identity, security systems or distributed systems at scale
