In the NA Alternative Fulfillment (AF) team our wildly important goal is to exceed the expectations of all our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as fast as feasibly possible, safely, on time, in full...every time. To do this, we have to continually innovate in our supply chain, plan for, design and manage our evolving Transportation and Vendor networks.
The Supply chain Manager, will work with Ops, Product and Tech teams to develop and integrate products, create processes, and build mechanisms that continuously improve the ship cost, while also improving the Vendor’s Experience of doing business with Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
• Own the annual ship cost plan (OP1/OP2) for Dropship, including goal-setting, project identification, and action plans with measurable targets
• Identify and quantify cost reduction opportunities across carrier mix, packaging, zone optimization, and mode selection
• Deliver the annualized ship cost savings goal through data-driven initiatives
• Develop and enforce SOPs for off-manifest management, label compliance, and carrier billing accuracy
• Analyze cost-per-unit (CPU), cost-per-package (CPP), and cost-per-shipment metrics to identify improvement levers.
• Create dashboards and automated reporting to track ship cost KPIs (CPU, zone distribution, carrier mix, weight/dim accuracy)
• Present performance updates to senior leadership team with clear narratives on what happened, why, and corrective actions
• Partner with technology teams to scope and prioritize system enhancements that unlock cost savings
• Coordinate with compliance and finance on billing disputes, audit findings, and accrual accuracy
About the team
The North America Alternative Fulfillment team is a fast growing, dynamic team responsible for driving operational excellence and growth for an External Fulfillment channel shipping directly from the Vendor to the Consumer (Also referred to as Dropship). We have big plans to continuously improve the Customer Experience with a wider selection while being at benchmark for delivery accuracy and speed. You'll be working with a diverse team focused on driving growth and improvement while having fun!
Key job responsibilities
- Update leadership and the team on the strategic planning initiatives while also working with other Program Managers and the Daily execution team to provide strategy and guidance on how to minimize impacts to the Speed and Accuracy metrics.
- Work with Vendor and Carrier Performance Management teams as well as Capacity Management PM to build strategy around improving the Speed and Accuracy metrics and execute them short term and long term
- Work with Product Management on Product development and initiatives for automation
- Manage the analyses of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of programs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
