Work hard, have fun, and make history at Amazon Web Services!

The AWS Data Center Delivery Operations team is searching for a passionate and talented Program Manager to own the operating rhythm of our AMER Capacity Delivery organization. AWS is at the forefront of a rapidly changing industry, delivering data center capacity at unprecedented pace and scale. This role owns the mechanisms that keep our leaders informed and our teams aligned, including monthly goal reviews, weekly and cross-organizational business reviews, and the end-to-end headcount planning cycle. This is a high impact role offering the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders, business operations partners, and finance to raise the bar on how we plan, review, and communicate progress against our goals. The ideal candidate is an owner with strong business judgment, exceptional written communication, a bias for building mechanisms that scale, and the ability to align cross-functional teams and drive work to closure.

Key job responsibilities
Owning and running the monthly goal review mechanisms for the organization. This includes preparing and coordinating goal status inputs, driving the standard reporting format, managing the review calendar, and ensuring leaders have a clear, accurate view of progress ahead of each review.

Leading the operating cadence of business reviews across the team and organization, including the Weekly Business Review (WBR) and other cross-business reviews. This involves coordinating content owners, managing deck preparation, and setting and enforcing corrections and submission deadlines so content is decision-ready.

Managing the headcount planning process end to end. This includes operating plan cycles, top-down and bottom-up alignment, and partnering with finance and headcount POCs on artifacts, and timelines.

Serving as the connective tissue between leadership, business operations, finance, and functional teams, translating leadership priorities into clear operating mechanisms and following up to closure on action items and decisions.

Identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate recurring reporting, reducing manual effort and cycle times while improving quality and consistency.

Communicating clearly to a range of stakeholders and executives through high-quality narratives, executive summaries, and review documents that make the story clear for a senior audience.

A day in the life
Each day you will interact with the teams and leaders responsible for planning and delivering data center capacity. You will prioritize the activities that are most impactful to the operating rhythm and to leadership visibility.

Start your morning finalizing the inputs for an upcoming monthly goal review.
Reconcile a set of WBR corrections against a deadline.
Partner with finance on a headcount comparison for the next planning cycle.
Edit a leadership narrative before it goes out.
Move between the details of a spreadsheet and a room with senior leaders, trusted to run the mechanism so leaders can focus on the decisions.

About the team
Join the AWS Data Center Planning & Delivery team, where we are not just building data centers, we are architecting the future of cloud computing. You will join a tight-knit business operations function supporting AMER Capacity Delivery. We value ownership, clear writing, and mechanisms that scale. This role works across the organization and with partner teams, giving you broad visibility into how AWS plans and delivers data center capacity.
