Would you like to shape how the largest Private Equity (PE) firms and their portfolio companies derive transformative business value through Generative AI and Artificial Intelligence? Are you excited to build and influence relationships with technical leaders, C-level executives, and operating partners across the PE ecosystem while defining the strategic direction of GenAI adoption at scale?

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are leading the GenAI revolution, helping PE firms and their portfolio companies build AI agents, implement AI-powered workflows, and transform their businesses with leading AI technologies. The Private Equity AI Solutions Architecture team is a diverse group of technologists who pride ourselves on being customer obsessed and innovation-driven.

As a Principal PE AI Solutions Architect, you will be a strategic technical leader and the foremost GenAI authority enabling PE firms and their portfolio companies to leverage Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning to solve complex business challenges and accelerate portfolio-wide strategic initiatives. You will define scalable AI adoption frameworks, influence AWS service roadmaps based on PE customer needs, and drive cross-organizational alignment across AWS specialist teams. You will work with AWS's comprehensive AI portfolio including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Quick Suite, and other AWS AI services, while mentoring other solutions architects and raising the technical bar across the team.

Key job responsibilities
Define the strategic technical vision for AI/ML adoption across Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies, establishing scalable frameworks and reusable patterns that accelerate value realization across entire portfolios

Own and drive the most complex, ambiguous, multi-stakeholder engagements end-to-end, setting technical direction across multiple customer and AWS teams while influencing long-term investment decisions

Architect enterprise-grade GenAI solutions including AI agents, RAG applications, and AI-powered workflows, establishing reference architectures and best practices that scale across the PE ecosystem

Design end-to-end AI/ML solutions from data aggregation through model deployment and production maintenance, defining architectural standards that other solutions architects can replicate

Shape AWS's GenAI strategy for PE by providing feedback to service teams on customer needs, influencing product roadmaps, and identifying gaps in AWS's AI portfolio

Develop thought leadership content, deliver executive-level technical presentations, and represent AWS at industry events to establish AWS as the platform of choice for PE AI transformation

Drive cross-organizational collaboration across AWS specialist teams, system integrators, and partner organizations, building mechanisms that improve delivery at scale

Mentor and develop solutions architects across the team, raising the technical bar through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and hands-on guidance
