Leading brands like Disney+, Capital One, NASA and Comcast use Amazon Serverless Messaging and Streaming services - Kinesis Data Streams, SQS, SNS and Firehose, as their foundation for real-time streaming data and event driven applications. With these services customers process trillions of events for real-time user engagement data for gaming and marketing analytics, build real-time IoT sensor data analytics solutions, analyze financial transactions in real time, perform network intrusion detection for security analytics, transform and load logs into data lakes, and much more. These customers choose serverless messaging and streaming services as they are fully managed, with no clusters to manage, pay as-you-go pricing and scalability to accommodate the traffic pattern variability of even the most demanding workloads.

We are looking for an experienced Product leader to lead a team of world class Product Managers that define and own the end-to-end vision and strategy for serverless messaging and streaming services. A successful candidate will have strong passion for developers and experience in building storage or analytics systems at scale. You have a background in software development and product management, specifically to cloud infrastructure and ecosystems. You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively across multiple organizations, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that developers and customers love.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive the product strategy and roadmap for AWS streaming and messaging services, and manage prioritization and tradeoffs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Establish business processes and policies as well as metrics and indicators for success.
- Measure and analyze existing products and business models for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to developers and customers.
- Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
- Develop, report, and continually improve business performance metrics
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- Recruit and develop top talent, creating clear growth paths and coaching Product Managers across multiple levels.
