The Worldwide Operations WHS Governance and External Affairs team seeks a Sr. Manager, Governance and Compliance to own strategy development, program and project management, and business process leadership across global operations. This leader will build and execute a comprehensive governance strategy that spans the full breadth of GEA functions, including regulatory compliance, internal and external audits, recordkeeping, environmental assurance, external stakeholder engagement, and standards development.
This role demands a strategic thinker who can operate at the intersection of regulatory risk, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end program management for high-priority initiatives, establish scalable business processes, and translate complex regulatory landscapes into actionable frameworks for hundreds of thousands of associates across the Amazon Operations network. They will manage regulatory projects across multi-jurisdictional environments, assess and prioritize risk exposure, and provide executive-level briefings on emerging compliance challenges.
This position requires agility and flexibility to ensure programs and processes adapt and scale to a rapidly evolving global environment while maintaining the highest safety standards and regulatory compliance.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
