The Policy & Compliance Specialist manages policy documentation, compliance reporting, and special projects across multiple operational areas and countries. This role serves as a key partner to operational leadership in maintaining policy accuracy, driving timely updates, and ensuring compliance with local regulations for Worldwide Grocery Stores including Whole Foods Market.

Key job responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
Analyze and implement requirements for historical, current and new or updated laws notice distribution through various platforms for onboarding, current team members and offboarding (50-60%)
• Build partnerships with Canada and UK leadership for timely policy and compliance implementation
• Ensure policy timing meets diverse requirements across regions and business lines
• Lead implementation plans for new laws in domestic and international markets
• Drive forward thinking policy alignment with consideration for updated and new laws
• Manage Labor Law Poster programming
• Research evolving international regulatory requirements
Policy Management (20%)
• Maintain policy templates for six core audiences across multiple countries
• Implement policy edits in content management systems
• Develop partnerships with international stakeholders to drive policy changes
• Reconcile policy edits for legal review and seamless publishing
• Own partnerships with other business lines for policy publications

A day in the life
You're making sure every team member, from onboarding to offboarding, gets the right information, through the right channels, when they need it. You take ever-changing labor laws across the US, Canada, and the UK and turn them into implementation plans that actually work.

Most of your time is spent researching new regulations, aligning with international partners on timing, building playbooks for how laws get communicated, and managing Labor Law Poster programming. You also author and contribute to policy templates for dynamic audiences across 3 countries.

Beyond the usual? You'll manage supporting resources, vendor partnerships, and jump into cross-functional strategic projects.

About the team
The Policy and Compliance Team historically supported Whole Foods Market. In December 2025, we joined the People Experience Technology Programs team to expand scope and support new stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
