Position: Retail Vendor Manager III - AMZ24765.6
Location: New York, NY
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Analyze data to help the business identify key brands to target,
initiate long-term relationships with the brands’ senior management,
resolve any operational, logistical or business issues, lead
negotiations on Amazon’s behalf, implement new systems and
procedures, and help the vendors/brands onboard and grow on the
platform. Build strong relationships and gather and organize
information on problems and procedures to drive significant top and
bottom-line results and develop solutions.
2. Gather information and improve the supplier/vendor selection,
profitability, operations and customer experience for the company’s
categories.
3. Prepare reports and analyze information to negotiate effectively
with supplier/vendors to establish joint goals, improve cost structure,
and sustainably grow the P&L.
4. Concisely represent the business to senior Amazon leadership,
advising on key business and operational matters, through reporting,
business reviews, financial planning sessions, and escalations,
focusing on identifying problems, solutions, and improvements.
5. Work cross-functionally with counterparts across supply chain
management, marketing, finance, Amazon programs, and retail
systems, to establish business strategies and practices to operate and
grow the categories.
6. Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and
exceed revenue and profitability targets.
7. Manage vendor relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts,
manage day-to-day relationships, and manage complex negotiations.
8. Create business plans and product roadmaps for brands,
incorporating new features, processes, merchandising and pricing
strategies;

Basic Qualifications
A Master’s degree, or Foreign Equivalent, in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered, Vendor Management, Sales Management or related occupation.
