What you’ll be doing:
This role owns the end-to-end sourcing strategy for a highly critical and fast-growing PCB category, including supplier relationships, cost management, capacity planning, and risk mitigation. The Sr. Director will lead a team of Global Commodity Managers (GCMs) and partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to enable successful product ramps and long-term scalability. You are a recognized industry leader with strong executive relationships in the PCB ecosystem, bringing deep technical and business expertise, analytical rigor, and a collaborative leadership style.
Consistent track record of transforming commodity teams and driving high-impact supplier engagements.
Own the global sourcing strategy for PCB across all programs and product lifecycles, including multi-year roadmaps, supplier diversification, and second-source risk mitigation.
Partner with PCB suppliers and its upstream suppliers to accelerate capacity ramps and site bring-ups for new product launches, while proactively managing supply, geopolitical, and operational risks and leading escalation and recovery efforts.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations on supplier selection, design trade-offs, PCN approvals, demand planning, and inventory and cost alignment.
Own category cost targets and cost-reduction initiatives, evaluate supplier investments and NRE with an ROI-driven mindset, and drive rigor in forecasts, commitments, and liabilities.
Lead strategic and executive-level supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, capacity commitments, and investment models while managing performance across cost, quality, delivery, and technology readiness.
Build and lead a high-performing strategic sourcing team by setting clear goals, developing talent, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 292,000 USD - 442,750 USD.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
