Leo Manufacturing Software Systems (MSS) is seeking an exceptional Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive complex technical initiatives within MSS’ team parent org of Leo Production Engineering Platforms (LPEP) and also outside of LPEP, working with our customers on the manufacturing floor. The TPM will engage with software, hardware, manufacturing, operations, networking, supply chain, launch, compliance, and security teams - collaborating, ideating, developing, and driving adoption of software solutions. This is a highly technical role requiring experience with integrated hardware and software development, data platforms, and regulated access control, along with an appreciation for complex applications. The TPM will drive thoughtful discussions to align business and technical stakeholder needs, partnering closely with internal and third-party technical teams to understand and address their pain points, ensuring crisp decision-making and effective solutions.
This is an on-site role that requires employees to work from the company's office 5 days per week.
Key job responsibilities
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineering, hardware engineering, product management, and business development to define and execute technical strategies for MSS, LPEP and their customers.
2. Serve as a key liaison between platform customers - access owners, data consumers, and manufacturing teams - and the software development teams, gathering requirements, identifying opportunities, and championing solutions that address customer pain points while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
3. Establish and maintain robust program management processes to track goals, milestones, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with Amazon Leo's strategic objectives.
4. Collaborate with Leadership to author Monthly Business Review (MBR), and other rhythm of business updates.

This role will be highly collaborative, requiring partnerships with cross-functional leaders to drive positive results. In this role, you will own the delivery and adoption of the services, applications and components that enable hardware tests in satellite manufacturing and gather relevant execution results and telemetry. You will collaborate with teams from manufacturing engineering, product engineering, and security engineering to identify requirements and design these solutions. You will partner with internal teams and contract manufacturers to standardize test execution and manufacturing telemetry collection.

Amazon Leo Manufacturing Software Systems (MSS) team builds comprehensive software solutions, test frameworks, information systems and manufacturing test stations that power manufacturing test operations as satellites are produced. Working closely with hardware, software, and test engineering teams, MSS delivers the tools and frameworks that enable consistent test operations - from fabrication to final provisioning - across internal facilities and external contract manufacturers. The team's mission is to transform Leo's manufacturing into a repeatable, highly available, and controlled process by standardizing, automating and simplifying manufacturing test development and execution, while maintaining rigorous security and compliance standards both at internal facilities and global contract manufacturing sites.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
