Key job responsibilities
Redefine How We Prioritize Selection: Move beyond item-level coverage metrics to build a prioritization framework that quantifies what matters most to customers. This includes sizing the revenue opportunity of selection gaps at both item and brand level, identifying emerging brands gaining traction on social platforms before they appear in traditional Amazon signals, and establishing criteria for "unregretted gaps" — high-effort, low-value opportunities like undifferentiated pack sizes and low-demand variants that don't warrant investment.
Apply Agentic AI to Accelerate Gap Closure: Leverage AI to transform how we identify and resolve selection gaps at scale. This includes accelerating brand gap identification, item-level defect diagnosis, and seller engagement opportunities. Integrate substitutability and purchase intent models to sharpen prioritization and surface insights that enable business teams to focus on gaps that matter most to customers — while automating resolution of non-strategic gaps.
Communicate Strategy Across All Levels: Translate technical complexity into clear, compelling narratives for audiences ranging from category teams to VP and SVP leadership. Author strategic documents that drive alignment across business and technical organizations, and represent selection strategy in business reviews and planning forums with executive presence and precision.
