Today, security research is slowed by fragmented tools, bespoke pipelines, and one‑off infrastructure that doesn’t scale, isn’t reusable, and often isn’t production‑ready. PRISMA Research Fabric changes that by delivering the shared, Engine‑level platform foundations that power AI‑first, agent‑assisted security research across the Microsoft Defender ecosystem.
We are building the fabric that connects data, models, inference, and agents into a cohesive platform—so researchers can focus on protection impact, not plumbing. Our systems enable fast, safe experimentation, human‑led and agent‑operated workflows, and a clear path from research to production, all while enforcing security, compliance, reliability, and scale by default.
What makes this team unique is leverage. Instead of building tools for a single product or scenario, we create reusable platform capabilities that are consumed across Defender research, investigation, and intelligence workflows. Every improvement we make multiplies across teams, products, and protections.
For engineers, PRISMA Fabric offers the chance to work on deep, foundational problems—distributed systems, data platforms, ML inference, and agent execution—at real‑world scale. You’ll be shaping up the infrastructure that enables the next generation of AI‑driven security research and protections for millions of customers.
If you’re excited about building platforms that matter, solving hard problems once instead of repeatedly, and enabling others to move faster through great engineering, PRISMA is where that impact happens.
