Overview

The Microsoft Devices Organization (part of the Experiences + Devices division) has responsibility for the end-to-end physical and digital supply chains for Microsoft’s vast array of existing and next-generation hardware including: Surface, Xbox, Accessories, Games, Windows, Office and more. 

As a Supply Chain Program Manager you will play a pivotal role in transforming supply chain operation process and product launches. You will have the opportunity to identify and scope opportunities to develop new program and improve current ones. You will define and track the success criteria and performance metrics and develop a communication plan, evangelizing complex programs to stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain buy in. This opportunity will allow you to contribute to or lead a portfolio of projects, including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management and performance metrics.

The role is responsible for driving operational excellence in supply chain operations, data configuration and product launches. This role ensures seamless integration between internal systems and external partners to deliver a best-in-class processes and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

Program Management  

  • Define scope, critical deliverables and lead times for process redesign or product launches and provide technical leadership to prioritize resources to critical issues.  You’ll contribute to identify technical program risks and building mitigation plans and contribute to issue resolution thru technical problem solving. 
  • You will contribute to risk management efforts and cost benefit decisions for process designs and product launches including risk identification and assessment, scenario planning and the mitigation risks.  You’ll communicate risk and cost tradeoffs. 

Data Configuration Management and Optimization  

  • Support product launch data configuration and updates to existing catalogs ensuring accuracy and efficiency to meet critical milestones. 
  • Create and maintain product catalog, sku’s and part list for reverse logistics network. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations on data catalog configuration, data sources and process optimization to streamline and standardize SKU catalogs, set up and maintenance.

Process Optimization and Development and Data Insights  

  • Evaluate supply chain operation activities involving inventory or financial transactions / reconciliation or data configuration set up and optimize process with AI and workflow automation. 
  • Partner with Key stakeholders to design and implement solutions while maintaining business objectives and minimizing risk. 


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes.
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes.
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Supply Chain Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
