The Engineering, Enablement & Operations (EE&O) team enables the Microsoft Commercial Business to better serve every person and organization’s transformation and economic success. We do this by designing and managing the systems, tools, and strategies that drive commercial excellence spanning compensation, performance insights, planning, skilling, and sales tools. The EE&O Revenue Strategy team plays an important role in empowering every person in the Commercial Business to serve customers better by activating and transforming our commercial revenue engine. We are hiring a Strategy & Operations Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement, to lead initiatives that shape how the business plans, operates, and evolves.   By applying for this role, you will be considered for an opportunity that sits on our Planning Transformation, and Commercial Transformation team. This role will partner across teams to drive complex, cross-functional work forward. The work may span larger multi-year transformations, field activation against those changes, and establishing rigor and operating mechanisms within sales teams to accelerate revenue. In this role, you will bring sound judgment and point of view, define enterprise guardrails, resolve cross-organizational trade-offs, and influence senior stakeholders to deliver durable, scalable outcomes across segments.

Responsibilities
  • Reimagine end-to-end workflows: redesign critical business processes that span organizational boundaries to deliver step-function improvements, utilizing the core tools and methodologies of continuous improvement.
  • Operationalize strategy into execution: facilitate teams in the definition of improvement goals, leveraging relevant benchmarks to set a high bar, and support implementation of improvements to achieve targeted outcomes. 
  • Identify and embed AI applications: surface high-value opportunities for AI/automation in target workflows, validate feasibility and impact, and partner with teams to implement AI-enabled improvements that increase speed, quality, and performance.
  • Build cross-org alignment: facilitate outcome-driven Kaizen events with senior leaders and teams to align priorities, surface tradeoffs, and drive clear decisions and results.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement rhythms and partnerships by resolving challenges and driving sustainment of improvements. 
  • Drive outcomes through insights: analyze performance data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that enable teams to adopt reimagined workflows.
  • Use data to identify opportunities, communicate results, and partner with teams to implement improvements.
  • Lead change management: apply your business acumen to guide teams through the end-to-end implementation of complex, cross-functional process improvements, ensuring maintenance of clear and complete documentation.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
