Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

The Electrical Engineer will be a member of Amazon Leo's Inter-Satellite Link Avionics team, focusing on the design of the various electrical functions including analog sensor signal conditioning and processing, and overall monitoring and control across spacecraft interfaces.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to lead a variety of tasks, from board design and component selection, to layout review, board bring-up, system test and root cause analysis at the subsystem as well as system level. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality and innovative designs, while also supporting other colleagues with reviewing and improving board and other electrical designs.

We are looking for an engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. You will be expected to work with a team of top-notch engineers and collaborate with multiple other spacecraft design and integration teams. A day in the life
You will tackle challenging, novel situations every day and have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
