We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the technical strategy and execution for next-generation Speed customer experiences. You will partner with engineering, science, product, and operations leaders to build scalable platforms that power low-latency, highly accurate, and AI-enabled customer experiences across Amazon's Speed ecosystem. This role requires exceptional technical depth, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across organizations to solve some of Amazon's most challenging customer and engineering problems.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the strategy and execution of complex, cross-organizational technical programs spanning engineering, product, science, and business teams to deliver differentiated Speed customer experiences.
Partner with senior engineering and product leaders to align roadmaps, resolve dependencies, and drive technical decisions across multiple organizations.
Define scalable operating mechanisms that improve planning, execution, risk management, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
Influence architecture and long-term technical strategy by driving alignment on platform investments, system evolution, and engineering best practices.
Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and organizational risks while balancing customer impact, business priorities, and engineering tradeoffs.
Drive executive-level communication by providing clear program visibility, decision frameworks, and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Foster collaboration across partner organizations to simplify complex problem spaces, remove organizational friction, and accelerate delivery.
Champion a culture of operational excellence by improving execution mechanisms, metrics, and continuous process improvements across large-scale initiatives.
Mentor TPMs and engineering leaders, raising the bar for technical program management and cross-functional leadership across the organization.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
