We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with direct experience in mechanical systems and mechanisms development to join the Leo team. You’ll play a central role in this ambitious mission, architecting the systems that will connect millions to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution, as you guide the development, integration, and testing of satellite mechanical systems.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for Leo satellite mechanical hardware and software across the full development lifecycle (requirements, development, validation) in an agile environment.
* Ensure programs meet schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for Leo satellite mechanical hardware teams; lead technical discussions, manage trade-offs, track/report status, navigate ambiguity, and identify and mitigate programmatic risks with internal and external partners.
* Coordinate cross-functional deliverables across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.
* Communicate program plans, status, and critical issues clearly to executive leadership; escalate and drive urgent issues to timely closure; lead postmortem reviews and implement continuous improvement actions.
* Align design teams to program milestones and convene the right technical expertise to unblock issues.
* Support vendor management and delivery tracking.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
