We’re seeking a U.S. & Global Employment Litigation and Compliance Counsel to join our Employment Law Team, reporting to the Senior Director of Employment Law, to partner across the business. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert managing risk and getting results.

This position is located at our corporate Headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. You'll be required to be onsite 3 days a week.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage pre-litigation employment disputes, demand letters, administrative charges, and government inquiries, both U.S. and international.

  • Partner with the litigation team and outside counsel on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and resolution.

  • Advise on U.S. and global employment matters, compliance and policy, including works councils, employee consultation obligations, policy localization, and cross-border investigations.

  • Support HR initiatives, M&A, and employment policies, balancing pragmatism with risk mitigation.

  • Track legal and regulatory developments and turn them into actionable guidance.

What we need to see:

  • Active California State Bar membership in good standing; JD with strong academic credentials.

  • 10+ years of employment law experience in-house and/or at a nationally recognized firm.

  • Track record managing complex cross-border employment matters for multinational employers, including works council processes and information-and-consultation obligations across jurisdictions.

  • Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills with excellent legal and business judgment.

  • Self-directed and collaborative, able to juggle competing priorities across functions and geographies in a fast-paced environment.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 232,000 USD - 368,000 USD.
