What You'll Be Doing:
Lead a global platform engineering organization - setting direction, coaching talent, and building a culture where experienced engineers stay focused, energized, and doing their best work.
Lead the strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery of the digital marketing platform portfolio, including customer data platforms, marketing automation, personalization, consent management, and pipeline infrastructure.
Lead personalization and decisioning capabilities across web, email, events, developer journeys, and content recommendations, with a focus on measurable customer and business outcomes.
Scale self-service data and agentic analytics experiences, so marketers can access trusted campaign, audience, event, and account insights faster.
Build and modernize scalable data pipelines that ingest, process, and unify customer, behavioral, consent, and audience data across marketing, sales, and platform ecosystems.
Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security to maintain consistent data governance, privacy, and compliance standards across all platforms.
Set standards for platform reliability, observability, incident response, release management, and deployment.
What We Need to See:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.
12+ overall years in software or platform engineering, including 5+ years leading managers, senior engineers, and external partners.
Experience developing technical leaders and guiding distributed teams through organizational and technology change.
Deep expertise in microservices and distributed systems architecture — able to set technical standards, design robust API-first platform services, and guide complex architectural tradeoffs.
Strong command of modern data architecture: cloud-native production environments, event pipelines, database design (relational and NoSQL), data quality, governance, observability, and production operations.
Experience building or operating customer data, marketing automation, personalization, analytics, or AI-enabled platforms at enterprise scale.
A record of delivering complex programs across a matrixed organization while balancing priorities, risks, and team capacity.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions in practical business terms.
Ways to Stand Out from the crowd:
Experience with agentic marketing workflows, LLM automation, audience segmentation, or AI-assisted campaign operations.
Deep familiarity with customer data platform architecture: audience activation pipelines, identity resolution, consent enforcement, downstream system synchronization, and data quality governance
Background in digital marketing operations or marketing technology at a global technology company, with an understanding of how platform decisions drive customer acquisition, personalization, and campaign performance.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 216,000 USD - 345,000 USD.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
