Job Description

This role will be based in Sunnyvale.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.  

Our Ecosystem Strategic Finance team is seeking a Sr. Associate to partner with LinkedIn’s Flagship Consumer leaders in shaping product strategy and driving sustainable growth. Supporting the Notifications team, this role will leverage data, forecasting, and business analysis to identify growth opportunities, evaluate initiative performance, and inform roadmap prioritization. The individual will synthesize signals from complex datasets, develop actionable insights and business narratives, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate analysis into decisions and measurable business impact. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor, business judgment, and stakeholder influence with a passion for solving ambiguous and complex problems. Key partners this role will collaborate with include Product Managers, Engineer leaders, Design leaders, and Strategic Finance partners. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Learns to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and supports strategy development with business partners.  

  • Validates and executes pressure testing of growth opportunities.  

  • Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members.  

  • Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints. 

  • Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.  

  • Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance.  

  • Synthesizes problems and communicates point of view to support decision-making on issues related to individual work in smaller group discussions. 

  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics- oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.  

  • Supports performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts for assigned metrics.  

  • Access, transform, and synthesize data from cross-platform data sources and analyze to assess signals, trends, and risks. 

  • Leverages advanced knowledge to develop hypotheses using identified signals, trends, and risks.  

  • Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.

The pay range for this role is $107,000 to $172,000.. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
