Description

You will serve as the EHS Lead for this site's Data Center and act as a strategic program liaison for environmental compliance across all Apple Data Centers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Apple and vendor leadership to oversee environmental management, site operations, maintenance, and construction activities. You may also remotely support Data Center operations outside the local site and participate in broader cross-functional EHS program development and implementation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and refine the global environmental and waste compliance strategy for the data center portfolio, partnering with third-party consultants to ensure alignment with business growth and regulatory developments.
Develop a scalable governance framework and define comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to establish consistent compliance execution across regions.
Act as the primary subject matter expert on environmental regulations and own the environmental permitting strategy in partnership with data center operations and construction teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all EHS matters at the Maiden data center, overseeing on-site managed services contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with site safety standards.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for injuries, near misses, and high-potential events, driving corrective and preventive action programs.
Collaborate with site teams and training teams to ensure EHS training is developed and deployed in accordance with regulations and project needs.
Conduct job hazard analyses, risk assessments, EHS audits, and industrial hygiene assessments to identify controls and best practices for continuous improvement.

10+ years of EHS experience within data centers, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial facilities, with an emphasis on environmental compliance.
