Key job responsibilities
- Deliver innovative design solutions that address complex UX challenges through code and technical implementation
- Proactively identify UX problems and opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Build high-fidelity, functional prototypes that communicate design intent and validate concepts with real interactions
- Adapt and extend industry prototyping tools to large-scale use cases unique to our products
- Guide future UX choices by demonstrating what's technically possible through working prototypes
- Present design solutions and technical approaches to management and cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, UX researchers, and software engineers to bring designs to life
- Develop production-ready front-end code that meets engineering standards for performance, accessibility, and scalability
- Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks to advance the team's prototyping and development capabilities
- Mentor other designers and engineers on design-technology best practices
About the team
Our team is part of Region services that owns the Product Registry of services across AWS, providing the ability for service teams to track, report and self-correct feature catalog. It establishes a source of truth for AWS feature catalog metadata including Naming, Categorization, Life cycle stage, contacts, hierarchy, regional availability, technical dependencies and artifact repository. Achieve parity across AWS regions by enabling service teams with region expansion. The team is also responsible for publishing service team roadmap to external AWS customers using AWS Capabilities by Region and self-hosted Capability Insights.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience- Have coding samples in front end programming languages

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
