As a member of the Products & Regulatory Legal Group, you will work with Apple’s procurement, engineering, and operations teams to help create and introduce Apple products to the world. Description

You will join a team of attorneys in the Products & Regulatory Legal Group who support the relationships with third parties that drive research and development of generative artificial intelligence features. You will draft and negotiate agreements with third parties to integrate AI models into internal and external tools, to create, license, and modify data to train AI features, and to leverage compute and storage resources to do so. You’ll advise the business in the day-to-day work with those third parties, and in the related development of artificial intelligence features. This work will require close collaboration with subject matter experts across legal teams, including privacy, intellectual property, export compliance, and product counseling. The candidate must have experience managing a large docket of deals and be able to solve highly complex issues in creative and effective ways, while maintaining an acceptable level of legal risk in a fast-paced environment. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies.

JD degree or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar

Pay & Benefits — Cupertino, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $235,100 and $353,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
