Intel's FCO Global Space Planning Organization is seeking a Strategic Layout Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic, internationally connected team. In this role, you will be a critical integration point between Strategic Planning, Construction, Tool Install Design, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering — helping to define how Intel's factories are built and equipped to meet long-term manufacturing objectives.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of Intel's foundry evolution, working on high-impact projects that directly influence how Intel's factories are designed, ramped, and optimized for future technology transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility & Equipment Layout Planning: Plan production facilities and equipment layouts, determining the most efficient use of space, comprehending process flow design constraints, and establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.

  • Installation Sequence Optimization: Optimize the installation sequence to support analysis and recommendations for future technology transition scenarios.

  • Equipment Installation Support: Assist in the equipment installation process by supporting Design Reviews and attending Field Walks as needed.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact with Design, Construction, and Capacity groups during site build-out to ensure alignment with plans and resolve layout-related field issues.

  • Business Standards Development: Develop, follow, and improve business standards within the organization and drive standardization across multiple global sites.

  • Stakeholder Integration: Serve as the key integration point between Strategic Planning, Construction, Tool Install Design, Installation, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams throughout all stages of layout development.

Qualifications:

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $76,390.00-125,660.00 USD
